Production Manager (Santa Ana)

Westridge Laboratories, the maker of ID personal lubricants is hiring for a Production Manager. Experience in an operations leadership role is required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct Production operations to fulfill the weekly production schedule, replenishment schedule and special requests in compliance with applicable FDA and OSHA requirements on schedule with the best possible efficiency and lowest cost.
  • Optimize production efficiency by studying current processes and implementing improvements. Develop cost models to measure effectiveness of improvements.
  • Initiate and direct planning for current and future requirements of equipment and space to effectively, efficiently and profitably manufacture and distribute the products produced at the manufacturing facility. Oversee the procurement, validation and implementation of new machinery in the production environment.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and logs for all equipment under the responsibility of Production. Insure the maintenance and repairs are carried out as scheduled or needed.
  • Ensure all staff members are properly trained on their assigned responsibilities and safety. Document all training activities using company forms.
  • Develop and maintain working procedures for all Production related activities that insure compliance with applicable FDA requirements. Oversee operations to ensure the procedures are consistently followed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of components and finished goods in the production environment in the company ERP system.
  • Interact with Warehouse, Administrative and Sales personnel and support multiple departments with operational issues.
  • Interact with Quality Assurance to address systemic quality issues.
  • Work within the organizations management team to fine tune operational procedures for overall improved efficiency and work flow.

EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum two year college degree.
  • Experience in an operations leadership role.
  • Bi-lingual, able to communicate with English and Spanish speaking staff.
  • Reads and writes English, can understand, read and write policies, procedures and forms used in a medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Math skills: Can perform ratios, multiplication, division with a calculator and check others work.
  • Technical Skills: Understands specific gravity, pH, viscosity, basic lab, biology and chemistry.
  • Proficient with relevant software (Word, Excel, Browser, email/Outlook, Windows).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • 15% office using a computer and other office equipment in the Production Managers Office.
  • 85% in production or the warehouse.
  • Warehouse environment is not conditioned. Varies between 90°F and 40°F depending on time of year.
  • Occasional travel / off-site work to vendors.

Marketing Manager (Santa Ana)

Westridge Laboratories, the makers of I-D Personal Lubricants, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and directing the Company’s marketing and creative efforts. This individual will oversee market research projects, point-of-sale development, advertising, promotions/events and all aspects of social media. The Marketing Manager will work in close partnership with the Company President and Product Manager. A successful candidate will understand the buyer values of mainstream customers as well as LBGT customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products.
  • Responsible for conducting and evaluating market research for products.
  • Plan and oversee the organization’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail outlets.
  • Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Develop and execute a clearly defined social media strategy with the goal of increasing brand recognition and online awareness of the I-D product line.
  • Maintain content, user interface and graphic features of the company’s websites.
  • Monitor and improve search engine performance as it relates to optimization.
  • Expand and improve the effectiveness of our internet marketing to achieve established goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or advertising is preferred.
  • 5+ years marketing or creative department experience.
  • Knowledge of viral online marketing strategies such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, organization, implementation through multiple projects.
  • Solid Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Salary Range: $45,000-$60,000 We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, medical/dental insurance and 401K.
